HARRY Cooke has played cricket long enough to know that the game can produce all kinds of surprises.
And yesterday it brought 53-year-old Harry a bumper bundle.
Playing for Daisy Hill second team against Clifton seconds he started the day by picking up nine wickets for 42 runs.
Not content with that, he went in to bat and hit 42 off one over!
Two no balls brought two extra deliveries and he took advantage by hitting six sixes, a four and a two.
"It's my best performance", said Harry as he downed a welcome pint - his only reward for his all-round success.
"We don't have collections at second team games for good performances and although a few wanted to buy me a drink, I could only have one because I was driving."
