CZECH visitors popped in to the Quest Centre in Halliwell, Bolton, to learn about "one stop shops".
The seven delegates, all directors and managers of companies in Czechoslovakia, were guests of the UN Industrial Development Organisation and had been invited to the Quest Centre by Lancashire Enterprises.
City Challenge Executive Trish Bartlett said: "Czechoslovakia, like many other countries, is having to reskill its workforce in order for companies to be competitive in world markets.
"The concept of a one stop shop - where people can come to a centre such as this and find everything they need in order to reskill - is completely new to them."
The Quest Centre, which is funded by Bolton Bury Training and Enterprise Council and the City Challenge Partnership, gives information for individuals and businesses that can lead to new careers and better jobs.
Trained counsellors are on hand to advise people on everything they need.
The delegates were given a guided tour by Trish Bartlett and Bob Findlay of Matra-Bae Dynamics at Lostock.
