BTG - the Bolton Training Group - is staging a free breakfast seminar next Wednesday, May 7. It is aimed at employers considering taking on modern apprentices.

"The message is that they should not wait until September," a spokesman said.

"Employers should think about it now if they want to find high-quality candidates."

The event - How Modern Apprenticeships Can Help Your Business - is jointly hosted by BTG and the Bolton Evening News.

It is being held from 8am (for 8.30am) and 10.30am at BTG's headquarters in Horwich and will include speakers from Warburtons Bakery and Bolton Bury Training and Enterprise Council.
