SIR: Since the Gas has gone private, I am concerned at the bullying tactics of some of the agents if people are getting into difficulties to pay their bills which have gone higher, especially for people with families. All they can say is have a pre-payment meter put in. They are forgetting that all the Gas places have closed. All the Electric places have closed. Some people live miles away from town. All the post offices have too much to deal with now and not enough staff to cover. Where is the end to all the messing up of all our lives as we know it?
If we get on the phone, it takes ages to get through to people. We ask for things to be sorted, and phone calls are wasted because they can't be bothered.
