SIR: I can't believe what is happening in this 'Atogether better' town of ours.
There have been stories in the BEN, of complaints from patients at our 'new' hospital, where waits of up to 10 hours are expected to be accepted as inevitable.
There are residents are afraid to walk down their own street, or stay in their own homes for fear of mob rule outside.
There are councillors who dismiss residents' pleas for help, as 'trivial; and then condone the ineptitude of the police, by saying they are too busy with other problems. There are elderly people are burgled while they sleep and live in constant fear.
With all this happening in our town, how can we justify the new 'altogether better' logo?
