I'm a little Scottie puppy jet black

From my head to my feet

I was sitting in the kennels when

My new mum and dad came by

I said now don't they look nice

I will try to catch their eye

My mum came for me one afternoon

I thought oh boy I will have a home soon

I have settled in nicely with my new

Folks but making friends with my two

Cats now that's no joke

Well I will settle in my basket to have

A little nap

And maybe a little later on creep

Up on someone's lap

I know they all love me because they

Tell me so

Whoops excuse me for now but I will
