YOUNG Kiwi forward Stuart Lester has been given a month to prove himself.
Wigan Warriors were planning to release the second-rower after he failed to get into the first team squad, but after a much-imporoved display in the Alliance team's win over Castleford earlier this week, Lester has been given a reprieve.
The former Auckland Warrior joined the club this winter but has been struggling to reach the required fitness level.
