LINE dancers are to dance eight miles to raise money for St Ann's Hospice at Little Hulton.
The marathon session will take place at Little Hulton Community School, Worsley on Sunday June 15 from 11am to 3pm.
Dancers from all over the area will be sponsored and it promises to be the first ever get-together of line-dance clubs from as far afield as Blackpool and Preston.
Organiser Mel Dunning explains: We are aiming to perform 80 dances in four hours from 11am to 3pm. It has been estimated that ten dances are equivalent to covering a mile.
Mel runs the White Eagle Country and Western Club in Bury and his himself a volunteer worker at St. Ann's, Little Hulton.
