THE banker who organised the £1milion winning NatWest pools syndicate won't be a penny better off.
Every week Graham Hart filled in the pools coupon and collected 50p from each of his colleagues - but he never took part himself.
But Graham, 27, based at NatWest's South Lancashire Business Centre in Waterloo Street, Bolton, says he is not bitter that each of the 14 syndicate members picked up a cheque for £71,471.
He said: "I'm not bitter. I'm really happy for all the team.
"I knew that this could happen."
The bank manager from Wigan did not join the syndicate because he was banking on winning the National Lottery! He said: "I'm already in two lottery syndicates and I'm not really a gambling man."
Graham, whose name even appears on the £1,000,594 cheque, joined his pals to collect their winnings from Gloria Hunniford yesterday.
They are believed to be planning a surprise when he marries colleague Debbie Hallam, in August.
Syndicate member Phil Harrison, said: "Graham has been brilliant and we'll make sure he gets looked after."
The syndicate notched up four score draws and three no score draws.
