SIR: I am researching a biography of Fay Taylour, a speedway rider who raced with great success at tracks throughout the UK, including Salford and Belle Vue, in the late twenties and thirties. I would be delighted to hear from readers with memories of Fay and other women speedway riders of that time, including 'Babs' Nield from Salford, Gladys Thornhill, Eva Askquith and Dot Cowley.
