A DRIVER ran off after an accident in which a mother and her teenage daughter were injured.
Mary Garforth, aged 36, and her daughter Carrie, 14, suffered shock and minor cuts and bruises when their Escort car was involved in an accident with a Renault in Breightmet early today.
Police say the driver of the Renault ran away from the scene after the crash in Mobberley Road at 1.15am.
Mrs Garforth and her daughter of Harden Drive, Bolton, were taken to the Royal Bolton Hospital but went home after treatment.
Any witnesses to the crash are asked to contact the Bolton Police traffic unit.
