CHAUFFEUR Barry Sansome hopes to steer his Ford Zodiac to success in a national classic car competition.
Barry, of Fairlands Road, Limefield, Bury, has entered the distinctive maroon and grey 1960s car in the third round of the 1997 Autoglym Classic Concours at Bromley in Kent.
And if he wins his class, later this month, he will go through to the competition's grand final at the NEC in Birmingham in November. The Autoglym Classic is the UK's most hotly contested competition in which car owners prepare their vehicles to overall perfection.
The overall winner will receive a trophy, £500 and a specially commissioned painting of their car.
