SIR: Having recently spent some time in the Royal Bolton Hospital. We feel it our duty to let the people of the Bolton district know how much care, consideration, help and security that the staff of Ward D4 gave to the patients on a ward of 28 beds. Even the cleaner went out of her way to help as the ward is really under-staffed due to the amount of patients on this ward.
The work that these nurses do is unbelievable, yet they still manage to do it with very rarely having a break themselves.
Many thanks to all the nurses and a very special thanks to Sister Clair Cunningham and Susan Cart, Joyce Murphy, Margaret Essien, Janet Hurst and not forgetting all the doctors who do their very best for all their patients even though they are terribly understaffed.
God bless them and thank you from all the patients who have signed and also the ones that were too ill to sign.
