We had the cause quite recently
To take our fearless pet
And get advice and treatment
From our friendly local vet
We got her to the surgery
Had to drag her through the door
And when he called her name out,
She was stuck down to the floor
We picked her up and carried her
This was no kind of joke
We put her one the table
For the vet to prod and poke
It's just a skin complaint my dear
Was the verdict of the vet
An injection now, and then some pills
You'll soon have a healthy pet
And then as if by magic
She jumped down on the floor
With tail erect, and head held high
She pulled us through the door By Mrs J Brown
