DENMARK striker Miklos Molnar wants to follow in the footsteps of Per Frandsen and Michael Johansen.
The 27-year-old Lingby goal star says he would choose Wanderers ahead of Premiership rivals Barnsley ... if he is offered the chance of a move to England.
Colin Todd has so far given no indication whether he will follow up his initial interest.
But Molnar has made it clear he fancies a move to the Premier League and the presence of Copenhagen duo Frandsen and Johansen puts Bolton ahead in the race for his signature.
Todd flew to Denmark yesterday and was pictured on Danish television sitting in the national stadium alongside Richard Codie, the agent who assisted in the £1.3 million joint transfer of Frandsen and Johansen last summer.
He saw Molnar, capped five times by his country and currently the 25-goal top scorer in the Danish Premier League, set up the Lingby goal in a 1-1 draw with FC Copenhagen.
He has one more opportunity to see the player in action when the Danish League complete their fixtures on Sunday.
There is little doubt that Molnar, who will be available on a free transfer this summer under the Bosman ruling, was Todd's target. Yet Danish TV suggested he was looking at Copenhagen's Finnish international goalkeeper Antti Niemi!
