COUNTRY music fans Margaret Crook and Roy Kerr are set to tie the knot at Mere Hall's first "shotgun" wedding.
The couple, who are both members of Bolton's Dixy Raiders Country and Western Club, will dress up in their Confederate finery for their big day.
And joining them in full authentic costume will be fellow club members and other Country and Western fans from all over the region.
One special guest will be Roy's long lost friend, Alan Smith, who will be best man on the day.
The pair, who were just six years old and pupils at Oxford Grove CP School when they became friends, lost touch at the age of 19 when they moved out of the area.
After 33 years they recently met up again at a Country and Western event at the Bolton Cowboys Club.
Roy, 52, said: "I didn't even know Alan was into Country and Western. I recognised him instantly, even after 33 years!
"It's great to be back in touch. I've even asked Alan to be my best man."
After the service, the newly weds and their colourful guests will visit the Chinese Gardens in Moss Bank Park for a photo shoot.
They will then go onto the Bradford Ward Labour Club, home of the Dixy Raiders, for a reception.
