A JOBS plan creating work for more than 300 people will be discussed with Kearsley residents this week.
Bolton Council is seeking views on their plans to turn the Singing Clough tip into an industrial site.
The former rubbish tip is at the centre of proposals to turn the land over for industrial use using cash from the government's Single Regeneration Budget.
But before Bolton Council go-ahead with the project, they are urging residents to let them know what they think about the scheme.
The 15-acre site was originally earmarked by the Imperial War Museum until an alternative site at Trafford was chosen.
Bolton Council's proposals include a new road which would take traffic for the Lyon industrial estate off local streets.
They are currently seeking a private sector partner to take part in a multi-million pound scheme.
Planning and environment committee Vice Chairman Cllr Peter Finch said: "It is certainly an interesting and exciting proposition.
"A lot of comment has been generated by the proposals - some for the scheme and some against - and all these points will be taken into account when the planning application come before the Committee.
"We will also be carrying out consultation with people who will be living near the proposed development."
