SIR: This is a copy of a letter I sent to BWFC.

Further to my letter of some weeks ago, when I expressed my concern about smoking at the Reebok Stadium, I now wish to thank the Bolton Wanderers board and any others concerned for considering the comfort and health of fellow supporters. I have recently received a letter outlining the club's plans for smoking at the stadium and they are a positive move in the right direction. I note that a total ban is envisaged in two years and that smoking will be allowed in certain sections of the ground until the full ban. I feel sure that your intentions are appreciated on both sides of the smoking fence and long may consideration reign.

I now look forward to collecting my four season tickets and enjoying my favourite team taking on the best of the rest in the Premier League and setting the place on fire with a blistering start. I look forward to the news of further developments at the ground such as Lifeline facilities and the station halt as I plan to make good use of both.

Recently I have been asked if tours of the ground are planned for visitors and schools etc. If such plans are being considered then I also look forward to hearing about them in the future.

May I again offer my sincere thanks to all concerned and send my best wishes to all at Bolton Wanderers and good luck in the coming season.
