ADVICE on housing, health and babies is available to residents at the new-look Healthlink shop in Blackburn Road, Halliwell.
The Healthlink shop - sponsored by Bolton City Challenge - is home to three major projects and brings expert advice and help to the Halliwell community.
Health Promotion, BASE and Bolton Midwives each have an office at Healthlink with staff available for consultation from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm.
Leaflets giving advice and information on many related subjects are stocked in the shop area.
Services in the refurbished shop include free pregnancy testing and contraceptives, advice on health issues and housing benefit.
"Healthlink offers a one-stop shop to serve health and accommodation needs for residents right in the heart of the community, bringing expert care and guidance within easy reach of people who may not otherwise gain access to it," said Cllr Bob Howarth, City Challenge chairman.
