MAD Michael Jackson fan Vicky Rudd is in for a thriller of an evening after winning the chance to meet her hero.
Secretary Vicky, of Chatsworth Court, Heath Charnock, will see the pop megastar in concert at Don Valley Stadium, Sheffield, before being whisked backstage to meet him.
Vicky, 20, was in tears when Rock FM's Kev Seed pulled her name from the hat after a week-long competition.
She had even taken the day off from Manchester firm Welding Star to wait for the announcement and couldn't believe her luck when she won.
"I felt sick, dizzy and happy at the same time," said Vicky. "I've not seen him live before and that would be enough. But to actually meet him is fantastic - it's a once in a lifetime experience."
Vicky has been Wacko Jacko's number one fan since she was four and her room is decorated with posters. Her wardrobe is also adorned with replica costumes - including a face mask and glove from the Black and White album!
Vicky, whose favourite record is Dangerous, will travel to Sheffield with her mother and two sisters next month.
As for where her hero ranks in the stardom stakes, Vicky is in no doubt: "What more could you ask for? He's the most famous person in the world. I'm just not sure what to ask him yet when I meet him!"
