SIR: On Thursday the June 19, under the headline "Kicking up a fuss in full kit", your reporter stated that an objection to the positioning of the proposed changing facilities at Ridgmont Park had been made by "members of the nearby Masonic Lodge". As Secretary to the Management Association who run the business side of Ridgmont House, I can quite categorically state that no formal objection to the planning application has been sent from this organisation, and neither has any objection from us been received by the planning officer concerned as can easily be verified.
On the contrary, we of this Association applaud the spirited endeavours of the Horwich Town Junior Football Club in raising the substantial amount required and will do anything within our powers to assist them in fulfilling their aims.
