ROMANTIC poet Francis Farnworth's aim in life is to "put down on paper the most beautiful love poem of all time".
The 41-year-old writer has seen his work published in five anthologies and is now hoping to see his own book in print. Francis dedicates his poetry to his late mother, Josephine Farnworth, and the love of his life, fiancee Julie Turner.
Thanks to his latest poem, "Love Eternal", Francis is a semi-finalist in an international competition run by the International Library of Poetry.
Francis, who lives in Willows Lane, Deane, has also seen 30 of his poems published in the BEN.
Love me just as much as I love you,
No less no more
Till love's story nears its end
And our shadows are seen over different shores.
Love me as much as this,
Just as I love you.
New chapters shall be written around the world,
Sealed with a kiss.
