RADCLIFFE-based Fluidair is consolidating its already-buoyant foothold in the Far East for its range of compressors.
And recently the thriving company welcomed two Malaysian businessmen who have forged a productive partnership with their English counterparts.
The visit to Fluidair by James Heng and Henry Yong follows a successful exhibition in Kuala Lumpar where the newly-formed partnership exhibited the company's air compressors and accessories to all sectors of Malaysian industry.
Mr Heng is managing director of Fluidair (M) Sdn. Bhd in Malaysia and colleague Mr Yong is technical director.
The England-Malaysia partnership was fused by Les Bell who is the Radcliffe company's manufacturing manager.
Mr Paul Dickinson, managing director of the Miller Street firm, presented his VIPs with a porcelain rose bowl during their visit to Radcliffe.
He said: "The presentation commemorates the early success of the partnership and concluded a factory visit where the objective was to strengthen personal relationships with the team at Radcliffe.
"The partnership was nurtured through earlier visits in 1997 when Les Bell and other key staff, Jimmy Cunliffe and Graeme Middleton-Duff from the engineering department, visited the Malaysian market."
Mr Dickinson is an active member of Bolton and Bury Export Club's management committee.
The club actively encourages the growth of exports from Bolton and Bury companies through regular meetings.
