SIR: My last letter complained of the change in format of this, the 'Your Views' page. Despite the fact that letters in support of my view in this matter doubled those against and, despite the fact that the BEN is constantly telling us this is "our page", I am forced to conclude that your words, actions and deeds are merely patronising and contradictory, as you have failed to do anything about it.
However, I would like to end on a positive note.
I found the poem written by Brian Derbyshire (last week's BEN), about the old lady and the burglar, an absolute gem.
I hope the readers and the BEN staff themselves recognise that they are fortunate to have regular contributors who devote time and effort into providing, free of charge, enjoyable reading material. Without these people there would be no page at all!
