A MEDIA student from Bolton College has achieved her ambition by hearing her own voice going out over the airwaves.
Lisa Bebbington, aged 17, is studying for a GNVQ in Media, Communication and Production.
As part of the course, she spent two weeks at Radio Bolton where she tried her hand at everything from reception work to getting behind the microphone.
"Sitting in on shows and seeing how the presenters work has been excellent," said Lisa. "It has just made me more determined to be a presenter myself one day.
"It hasn't been quite what I expected," added the former Mount St Joseph School pupil. "There are not as many people in the studio as I thought there would be but this has given me more opportunity to try out everything."
