THE Bolton League is playing its part in England and Australia's preparations for tomorrow's Third Test at Old Trafford.
Tonge professional Iqbal Sikander has been helping England all summer with bowling net sessions to combat the spin threat of Shane Warne - a tactic that has worked up to now.
Meanwhile, Australia have also turned to the League and have taken three players from Down Under who are all currently guesting with local clubs.
Again Tonge supplies help with 18 years old Matthew Bode joining Mark Taylor's squad for pre-Test nets and called up with him are Little Lever's Jason Voros and Heaton's Jason Swift.
