ABOUT 100 people attended the inaugural corporate dinner at Mere Hall in Bolton.
The refurbished Mere Hall - Bolton City Challenge's £1 million community flagship project - offers a plush banqueting suite and bar.
Guests at the inaugural dinner enjoyed a five-course meal and listened to speakers including Elizabeth Jeffreys, Chief Executive of Marketing Manchester.
Mr Derek Shepherd, Chairman of Mere Hall Bolton Ltd - the management company - said the unique venue offered a touch of class for companies organising functions.
"Mere Hall has been transformed from a derelict building into an attractive venue which recaptures its 19th Century glory," he said.
