BOLTON Museum bosses are teaming up with the world of commerce to promote their latest exhibition.
In a joint venture, the Museum and Art Gallery is offering retailers across Bolton the opportunity to display modern works of art in the workplace.
The initiative is aimed at promoting its latest exhibition "Pots of Interest" which features pottery by such noted artists such as Elizabeth Fritsch and Ewan Henderson.
On Thursday next week, managers and staff of several of the town's main stores will go along to the exhibition to select a pot which they want to display.
The pots will be housed in secure museum display cases on shopfloors and in the public view to raise awareness of he exhibition and enhance surroundings.
Town centre retailers Marks & Spencer and Waterstones have already signed up along with the Bolton Excel centre and Bolton Institute.
The exhibition is on until the end of March but the selected pots, all contemporary in design, will be on display in the stores until the end of May.
