Sir: I refer to a recent letter from Mrs Rita Crossfield. who complained about poor toilet facilities for the disabled at Bolton Market on Ashburner Street. Mrs Crossfield will be pleased to know that the offending hand drier she refers to in the ladies' loos at Bolton Market was repositioned some six months ago to improve access for the physically impaired. However, as well as the normal provision of toilets for male and female shoppers, and a Baby Changing room, there is also a separate large toilet cubicle especially for our disabled shoppers. This has ample room for wheelchair users. Additionally, should any disabled shopper have forgotten their RADAR key, one is always available at the market office.
