THE Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, Dr David Clark, was today paying a visit to Henri-Lloyd Ltd in Smithfold Lane, Worsley.
Dr Clark was talking to management at the successful sailing gear manufacturer to discover how best to help the firm with their European business by easing the regulatory burden.
Earlier he was at the opening of a Manchester conference on "Better Government: More Effective Regulation" - a two-day event aimed to assist businesses by establishing a framework to cut red tape while providing effective protection for citizens, which has attracted more than 200 delegates from across Europe and the UK and ties in with Britain's European presidency.
