LENNY Johnrose has been ruled out of Bury's trip to Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
The Shakers have received confirmation that the midfielder will miss only his second game of the season with a one-match ban.
It gives Johnrose extra time to recover from a hamstring pull which forced him to limp out of Saturday's victory over Norwich City - and gives boss Stan Ternent another selection headache.
Already without key defender Paul Butler, who starts a two-match ban, Ternent must also shuffle his midfield pack.
"I think Lenny would have got over the injury but that's irrelevant now with the suspension," said Ternent.
"But it gives another player the chance to come in and show what he can do like Tony Rigby has done."
Ternent will run the rule over Peter Swan and record signing Chris Swailes in the reserves tonight as he considers who will plug the gap left by Butler's absence.
The pair will get half a game each in the home match against Scunthorpe United when midfielder Adrian Randall can also press his claims for a return to the first team squad.
