SIR: As a regular user of buses, I've got to know what the fares are both single and return, or so I thought.
I have paid £1.74 for a return ticket from Market Street, Farnworth, to Bradshawgate, or Great Moor Street, Bolton, and I was told by a driver that it's £2.15 for a return. Now this to me is ridiculous. Do the drivers know anything regarding the amount you pay, depending where you are going, because I certainly don't and this is on Greater Manchester buses. I wonder even when they look at their fare sheet, whether their sheets are correct? I would like this matter clarified please.
