A PENSIONER is locked in a second battle with a developer who is building near his home in Little Lever.
Retired engineer and teacher Richard Grundy, aged 67, is angry because he claims two bungalows have been built seven feet out of position.
As a result, he says the development is blocking out light from his home on Settle Street.
Only a month ago, the BEN reported that Mr Grundy had complained that leaking diesel oil from the site was polluting his garden.
Now he says that the new development from Bury-based Heritage Homes of eight apartments and two bungalows is ruining the outlook from his home.
He said: "I am just fed up with it all. I have complained to the council, but the bungalows are almost built now, so I can't see the council making the developers take them down."
Mr Howard Barritt, Bolton Council's head of planning control, confirmed that the bungalows were out of position.
He said that the developers had been in touch and the council was expecting an amendment to the planning application to be put in to alter the position.
It would then have to be approved by councillors at a planning control sub committee meeting.
A spokesman for Heritage Homes said: "A full and thorough investigation will be made."
