ROMANCE I felt him lie beside me,

My eyes were shut so tight.

He blew into my left ear,

Then he blew into my right.

My poor heart beat within my breast,

My pulse began to race.

I heard his heavy breathing,

As his lips explored my face.

The adrenaline was flowing,

Sleep seemed so far away.

I was on a trip to heaven,

The end of a perfect day.

I knew I must surrender.

My eyes opened up a crack.

Kissing my cheek, he whispered:

"Darling, scratch my back." By N Crutchlow, Lancaster Avenue, Horwich.
