THE future of Aussie forward Steve Driscoll is in doubt.
The Leigh Centurions prop broke an ankle in a reserve team game and is ruled out for three months.
Hilton Park officials are expected to sit down this week and discuss the 23-year-old's immediate future.
Signed from the South Sydney club on the recommendation of coach Steve Martin, Driscoll has failed to make an impact with the Centurions.
With Leigh keen to strengthen their squad and with their import quota full, it may suit both parties if Driscoll returns home.
Driscoll joins a long Centurions' casualty list which now includes Aussie second rower Matt Nixon and winger Mark Burrows.
Nixon missed Sunday's defeat at Keighley with cartilage trouble while Burrows is out with concussion.
