SIR: We had our last mass at St Gregory's Church on March 2. People stood down the aisles, at the back, and even in the porch. We had six priests and the Bishop. It was a very emotional evening and everyone was so sad at losing this beautiful church.
Our first service was in the school hall this morning and what a very pleasant surprise we all received. It is so beautiful and the feeling we got was to be so down on Monday and then lifted right back up on Sunday. A lot of very hard work and thought had gone into being converted from school hall to a church. A very big thank you to Father Clarke and everyone else who helped to do this.
To all of St Greg's parish - if you have not been in yet, please come and see for yourself. I am sure you will not be disappointed. You will be elated at the transformation of hall to church. Thanks again. God Bless.
