A STUDENT faces exam heartache after thieves stole all her course notes.
Alison Hurst, aged 21, is just two months away from taking a psychology A-level which will decide whether she goes to university.
But disaster struck when thieves broke into her car in Bolton and fled with her satchel stuffed full of essays, revision notes and half-completed coursework.
Today Alison told the BEN: "I'm heartbroken. This could affect my whole future."
Part-time cashier Alison was working at William Hill bookmakers, Chorley Old Road, Bolton, when thieves smashed into her Ford Fiesta car parked nearby.
They ignored her stereo, choosing to steal the student's bag which only contained college files bursting with a year's hard work.
Now Alison, who hopes to take a law degree and become a solicitor, faces a race against time to complete her coursework, copy class notes and redo revision sheets.
Alison, who lives in Cherwell Road, Westhoughton, and attends Wigan Tec, is appealing for the files to be returned.
"They could be popped back to William Hill anonymously," she said. "This is so important to me because it will shape the rest of my life and career." Call Alison on 01942 811878 if you can help her locate the notes.
