A MAJOR scheme to develop young Bolton business talent gets a stylish launch on Monday night. Local business people who are being wooed to provide practical and financial help have been invited to a black tie Gala Ball to be held at the Club Mondo in St George's Street.
Admission is by placing a donation in the envelope provided by organisers when tickets were sent out to local companies. About 300 people are expected to attend. Funding for the Bolton Young Entrepreneur Programme already stands at more than £50,000 thanks to private and public sector pledges. After Monday the spotlight will shift to young people aged between 18 to 30.
Fifteen bright, young, would-be entrepreneurs will be selected for financial help and advice from experts. Speakers will also include local club boss John Musso, one of the instigators of the scheme.
