THE countdown continues for next month's Great North Western Beer Festival.
Bolton Campaign For Real Ale (CAMRA) officials are hoping to build on last year's re-birth of the event.
As reported in Cheers, the GNWBF made a comeback after its enforced absence because of the closure of its long standing home at Silverwell Street Sports Centre.
CAMRA reported that a lot of people struggled to find the festival last year in its new home at the Excel Centre on Bridgeman Street.
The venue itself had only recently opened before last year's event.
But CAMRA are confident that this year the message will sink in, with the plenty of advance publicity.
The festival will run from Thursday April 16 to Saturday April 18, promising more than 60 real ales and ciders and featuring a new festival brew from the independent Bolton Bank Top Brewery.
Food will be available at all sessions.
For those still in the dark, the Excel Centre is behind Bolton College Manchester Road campus.
