Lord you made our wonderful earth,
and we are destroying it for all we are worth
Polluting the rivers and oceans few, destroying the
forests and animals too.
Corrupt and greedy and cruel, that's Man,
I'm sure this destruction was not part of your plan.
Alert every nation before it's too late, with our
utter contempt, we are sealing our fate.
This earth provides our every need, food, water and clean fresh air,
You must get through to everyone Lord, we
must learn to care and share.
Open our eyes to the beauty, to the resources you have supplied,
Let us become good stewards, and tend our surroundings with pride.
We must look after our animals, our oceans and countryside too,
Please help us Lord before it's too late
We can always rely on you.
