SIR: The BEN has an excellent record for re-uniting people with people and people with pets and I would appreciate the favour of your help in trying to reunite some lady with her lost wrist watch. This was found in Farnworth last month.
The watch has been engraved with an identity number and it occurs to me that this may be recognised by someone, I hope the owner herself. The number is 524747.
I seek no reward other than the satisfaction of handing the watch back to its owner. I can be contacted on 01204 793766.
