DENMARK manager Bo Johanson is hoping to see for himself on Wednesday what he's been hearing second hand about Per Frandsen's Premiership form.
Johanson hasn't been able to get over to see the Wanderers midfield ace personally but revealed this week that he's been getting rave reviews.
Frandsen's inclusion in the Denmark squad for Wednesday's friendly against Scotland at Ibrox was no real surprise.
But when he arrives in Glasgow with Manchester United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel, he is expected to be asked to partner his former FC Copenhagen teammate, Spurs' star Allan Nielsen, in centre-midfield - a partnership Johanson is looking at with the World Cup Finals in mind.
If his performances for Wanderers are anything to go by, the Danes won't be disappointed.
But it isn't just Bolton fans who have been singing his praises. The latest Carling Opta ratings, which examine every player's performance in Premiership games, list Frandsen as fourth in the midfield category behind Jamie Redknapp, David Batty and Paul Ince and ahead of George Boateng, Dennis Wise, Neil Lennon, Gary Speed, Emanuel Petit and Ian Taylor.
Nathan Blake has just drifted out of the strikers' top ten but Andy Todd - a candidate for the Premiership's 'find of the season' - currently lies seventh in the defenders' category.
