BUSINESSES and organisations throughout the North-west are being encouraged to take part in the NORWEB Business Energy Awards competition.
Entrants must show how the introduction of an electrical process or service has enhanced business performance by improving output, product quality, benefiting the environment and making savings through the more efficient energy use.
Winners, to be announced at an awards ceremony in October, will each receive a £1,000 cheque, a trophy and a certificate. The awards were initiated by NORWEB 15 years ago and are operated through EMTEC, their specialist test and design centre in Chorley. Closing date for entries is Friday, May 29. More details from Geoff Silcock at EMTEC on 01257 225826.
