SIR: After studying the very controversial proposed planning permission for another superstore at the Old Hall Street/Blackhorse junction, it appears to me to be the most inconceivable place that anyone could propose for same. It is busy enough in with traffic, but that aside, we do not need any more superstores and would recommend the planning commitee to reject it out of hand which I am quite sure would please a large percentage of the electorate and put a stop to this superstore mania and the power of big business, over ordinary people. The best I could suggest is to get the site cleared because it has been an eyesore longer any than anyone wants to remember.
