POLICE appealed for witnesses today as they released more details about a raid outside a post office in Leigh.
Two masked robbers snatched a cash bag from a bakery delivery man as he took a small amount of money to Manchester Road post office.
The man, who works for Waterfields, Leigh, was left badly shocked, but was not injured.
As reported in later editions of the BEN, the raiders sped off in a G-reg Vauxhall Cavalier. Anyone who witnessed the incident at 10.35am yesterday on 0161 856 7251.
