CHORLEY dance music duo Kush will give a special live showcase gig at the highly-acclaimed Feel club in Preston later this month.

Music industry representatives are expected at the event, which is viewed as a big break for the talented duo - namely Ben Booker of Chorley and Leo Stones of Brinscall.

The group - said by some to be the next Chemical Brothers or Prodigy - has already been signed by the HS/ZERO record company.

On Saturday, March 28, at Feel - hosted fortnightly in the students union venue of the University of Central Lancashire - Kush will give a stage performance featuring choreographed dances and a "very special" stage set up.

It is intended as a premier showing of the group and expected to attract attention from national media and some of the UK's largest record companies who are said to be showing a keen interest in the band.

Ben and Leo write, create, play and perform their music. They met at the Park School, part of Preston College, when they were studying a diploma in music technology and production.

Glen Woodroffe, of HS/ZERO, said the due were "very excited" about the gig.

"Not only because they will be the focus of such high profile attention, but also because they will be performing for their home crowd at one of their most favoured clubs" he commented.

HS/ZERO has just launched a free mail out service on which you can get more information on Kush.

To join, send a stamped addressed envelope with your name, address and telephone number to HS/ZERO Music, PO Box 79, Chorley PR6 7GL.
