TRAINED tourist guides will be offering a selection of tours over the next five months, looking at past and present events in Bolton Town Centre.
Locals and visitors to the town will have the opportunity to find out more about the area from the professional Blue Badge Guides.
The walks start on April 2 with Bolton's Yesterdays, followed by a glimpse at the town's famous sons and daughters on April 18 with Bolton's Personalities.
Other walks will include an evening Ale Trail which will look at events in Bolton's pubs, Boomtown Bolton which will cover the town's major and minor booms and includes a fun quiz.
For younger visitors, the Children's Elephant Trail will take them around Bolton's elephant landmarks.
Each tour starts from Bolton Ticket and Information Centre, in the Town Hall, and lasts approximately 90 minutes.
Tickets cost £2.75 for adults and £2 for children with one free child place for every accompanying adult.
