A FUN day raised £254 for a five-year-old fighting leukaemia.
Family and friends of Deane boy Tom Molyneux, recovering from a bone marrow transplant at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, held the event at St James's School, Farnworth. The cash will now help pay for a holiday when Tom, of Hibernia Street, has beaten his illness. The schoolboy's aunt Sandra Jackson, who helped organise the fun day, said: "We'd like to thank everyone who pulled together to help us."
