Alliance Football League HARPERS Villa were made to fight all the way for the three points against Brindle St Joseph's. They just managed this by the odd goal in three.
New Minstrel and Hop Pocket shared the points with a goal each at Chisnall Playing Fields.
Railway 'B' had a good home win at Chisnall Playing Fields against Cardwell from Adlington. The first half was very even with a goal each, but Railway 'B' took control of the second half and ran out winners 4-2.
