AN innovative Westhoughton company has been presented with a SMART award.
Complementary Technologies Ltd of Manchester Road received £45,000 from the Department of Trade and Industry.
The scheme is designed to help small and medium-sized companies improve their competitiveness by developing new products and processes.
Complementary Technologies will use the cash for a feasibility study into a low cost colour wireless camera.
The award was made at the Reebok Stadium by Marianne Neville-Rolfe, Regional Director of the Government Office for the North-west.
